The Beginning...
In 1956, Chiyo and Ken Hirata, with a dream, a prayer and a family, moved from Cleveland, OH. to Lowell, IN. Having a passion toward the automobile, they set out to start their future.

The Now...
Now in its second generation, Hirata’s Complete Auto Care Center has evolved into a complete one stop auto service center. Now retired, Chiyo and Ken are still active in all aspects of business. They have now turned over the shop to son, David. Starting from a broom and Chiyo and Ken’s accumulated 40+ years of experience, David now over sees the daily operations. Along with the talented staff, the Hirata’s have been able to take the building purchased in 1966 and expand over 10 times to what is today. “With our dedicated office, collision and service staff, we are now able to keep virtually every aspect of our repairs in house and under our constant supervision.

The Future...
We constantly try to grow. We keep purchasing the most up to date equipment, provide continued education for our staff and monitor our customers concerns and needs to continue to provide the best product we can.” say the Hirata’s.
